THE "PLAIN ENGLISH" SUMMARY

We are a B2B Infrastructure Provider. We primarily process public sector data.

Zero-Copy Architecture: If you use our Snowflake Native App, we do not have access to your internal data. It is processed entirely within your account.

Data Sovereignty: All primary infrastructure is located in the UK (AWS London).

No Ad-Tech: We do not sell your user data to advertisers. Ever.

1. WHO WE ARE

Open Data London Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") is a company registered in England and Wales (Reg. 1599203). We provide data infrastructure and intelligence services. We act as a Data Controller for your account information and a Data Processor for the public datasets we aggregate.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

We collect two distinct types of data:

Account Data (Visible to Us):

Business email addresses, billing details, and login credentials.
Usage logs (e.g., API call volume, query frequency).

Customer Data (Not Visible to Us):

If you use Alliela AI or London DB via Snowflake Zero-Copy Share, your proprietary data (e.g., client portfolios, internal tables) remains within your Snowflake Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). We cannot see, copy, or export this data.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

To provide access to the London DB platform.
To send transactional alerts (e.g., invoices, system downtime).
To prevent fraud and enforce API rate limits.
To comply with UK legal obligations (e.g., VAT reporting).

4. DATA RESIDENCY & SECURITY

Location:

All data is hosted in the United Kingdom (AWS eu-west-2).

Encryption:

Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).

Sub-processors:

We use Snowflake Inc. and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our primary infrastructure providers. Both are SOC 2 Type II compliant.

5. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)
